We are seeking an experienced Steel Erector with SSSTS & Supervisor experience to join a skilled site crew working on structural steelwork projects. This is a hands-on role with a strong pipeline of consistent site work.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Magherafelt
Rate: £20 an hour PAYE
Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime opportunities depending on programme requirements
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
- Safely erect structural steel including beams, columns, bracing, and frameworks in line with drawings and method statements.
- Work confidently at height using harnesses, MEWPs, and access systems.
- Read and interpret GA and fabrication drawings to ensure correct installation and alignment.
- Assist with lifting operations and communicate clearly with crane operators and supervisors.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.
