Steelwork Connection Designer

A leading structural steel contractor is seeking a Steelwork Connection Designer to work closely with structural engineers, Tekla detailers, fabrication teams, and clients to design practical and efficient connection solutions on major schemes. Salary : £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (DOE) Locations : Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire, Durham, Scarborough, West Yorkshire, Dorset Working Arrangement : Office-based / Hybrid (with remote options considered depending on proximity to office hubs) Key Responsibilities : Design structural steel connections in accordance with Eurocodes and British Standards. Produce comprehensive connection calculations and supporting technical documentation. Liaise with structural engineers, clients, detailers, and fabrication teams throughout the project lifecycle.
