The Sterile Processing Tech functions as an integral member of the team and is responsible for performing technical tasks that support clinical operations. Receives and processes instrumentation, supplies, and equipment from the operating room, departments, clinics, and outside customers in a timely manner
Cleaning and decontamination of instruments, scopes, equipment, and disposal of biohazard Utilizing proper PPE, tech will disassemble, inspect, and decontaminate via manual, ultrasonic and automated process following IFU's
Performs sterilization, and high-level disinfection of instruments, scopes and equipment via steam autoclaves, low temp and liquid chemical
Performs and records required daily quality checks and tests on the sterile...
