Job Description
The role of Substance Use Practitioner will compliment the existing probation team, managing an identified caseload of young adults, addressing substance misuse issues, and reducing the risk of re-offending. The team works in the heart of communities, to deliver treatment packages that are tailored to the needs of young people, and their families or carers.
Main Duties and Accountabilities
Working alongside Surrey Probation Service, offering an initial triage service and assessment for referred young adults, aged between 18 – 25 years of age.
Offering accurate information on assessment and therapeutic interventions available through Catch22 SYPSUS, and contributing to assessment and care planning, related to targeted and specialist interventions for young adults with substance use issues.
