The successful candidate will collaborate with the Speech and Language Pathologists to provide a comprehensive speech/language program for the district.
Position Responsibilities:
- Under supervision ofSpeech Language Pathologistsprovide individual and group therapy based on students' Individual Education Plan and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group therapy based on students' Individualized Education Plans and 504 plans
- Provide Response to Intervention services based on students' individual needs
- Attend educational resource team meetings, when and where appropriate
- Monitor student progress, in regards to individual education plans, and document through therapy notes and progress reports
- Have an understanding and comply with any state or federal regulations regarding the position of a speech language assistant
- Complete Medicaid reimbursement forms in a timely manner.
