Supervisor - Production/Plant

Under general direction, the Materials Supervisor supervises hourly shop employees in a heavy production environment. Plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, working conditions and other production‐related activities. Responsible for the safety of employees, quality, and efficiency of production while ensuring on‐time delivery. Reports to the Sr. Supply Chain Manager. Essential Functions of the Job: Direct and supervise assigned production and materials employees following established procedures and approved processes. Including but not limited to performance appraisals, hiring, employee relations, attendance, and timecard maintenance, coaching and training as needed.
