Supervisory Power System Dispatcher

Summary This position is part of the WAPA-SNR-Sierra Nevada Region. As a Supervisory Power System Dispatcher (AGC), you will provide technical support to a power system dispatch function and provide program direction and supervision in a Western Area Power Administration customer region. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Power System Dispatcher, you will: Implement written operating plans, standards, and procedures to be followed in connection with the operation of the power system. Assure the effective and efficient control and operation of the system for the generation and delivery of capacity and energy to customers in coordination with interconnected utilities. Collaborate with different planning units to ensure dispatchers accurately post available transfer capability on the applicable OASIS.
