SUPERVISORY SHIP PROGRESSMAN (GENERAL)

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SHIP PROGRESSMAN (GENERAL) in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NAVAL SHIPYARD & IMF within the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY. Responsibilities You will plan the use of subordinate worker's equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month- to month basis. You will establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences; and plan work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors. You will coordinate work with supporting or related work functions controlled by other supervisors. You will determine the number and types of workers needed to accomplish specific projects.
