The Supplier Quality Engineer leads and supports daily supplier management activities at the Sensata make site. Working with cross functional teams to resolve any supplier related concerns they will also take the lead for New Product Development and change management across the site ensuring support for critical projects.
# General Responsibilities
+ Lead key supplier strategic activities and interface with Sourcing on forward looking roadmaps, including development of new suppliers and/or technologies, local activities, qualification, productivity pipeline cost reduction, components qualification, and supplier capacity verification.
+ Initiate supplier-related problem solving to address performance issues as necessary
+ Drive containment activities
+ Communicate with relevant internal/external contacts and ensure timely closure and effectiveness
+ Notify suppliers quality issues, drive supplier report, verify...
