- Maintains and coordinates scheduling for surgical and specialized procedures within the cardiology department
- Works closely with physicians, clinic staff, and ancillary teams to ensure accurate booking of procedures, including verification of provider block time, room availability, equipment, and supplies
- Enters and updates scheduling data, manages changes and reschedules, and communicates updates to patients and care teams
- Verifies insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations prior to procedures to ensure compliance and readiness
