Sustaining Engineer

**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Maintain Switchgear design within Oracle Product Lifecycle Management- Improve Design for Manufacturability (Safety, Quality, and Efficiency)- Provide design support for issues discovered during production- Provide design support for supply chain issues- Support New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI)Ensure quality of ETO design before released to production**QUALIFICATIONS**- 1-3+ years of experience in product design- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering- 3D modeling / 2D drafting- Experience in Lean Methodologies- Excellent communications skills - written & verbal- Ability to lead cross-functional teamsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**No special physical requirements**TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED**10%
