System (C&I) Technician

Job Description

As a Systems Technician at Wairakei, you will be trusted to look after the systems that keep the plant running safely and efficiently. Your days will blend hands‑on technical work with problem solving, collaboration, and forward‑thinking maintenance. You will work closely with operators, engineers, and contractors to maintain and improve control, instrumentation, and electrical systems that are critical to plant performance.

Responsibilities

Maintain control and protection systems; analyse system performance; update plant documentation; support improvements to maintenance strategies; coach others; support safe work practices; and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
