+ Develops, designs, documents, and/or applies new laboratory instrumentation, automated test systems, test fixtures needed for laboratory testing or in support of upgrading the laboratory infrastructure.
+ Supports the installation, testing and validation of the new and/or revised instrumentation, automated systems or test fixtures to ensure quality compliance and user requirements.
+ Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed.
+ Responds to user requests to repair and/or modify existing laboratory instrumentation, automated systems and test fixtures.
+ As applicable, records observed or calculated data on appropriate UL forms as the record of laboratory support activities.
