 Introduction to the role: 
The Systems Engineer is a Tier 2 application support role responsible for the day‑to‑day operational support, stability, and performance of applications supporting the Global Financial Solutions (GFS) business unit. This role handles complex incidents escalated from Tier 1, performs in‑depth troubleshooting, and works closely with Senior Systems Engineers to resolve issues, support releases, and improve application reliability.
The Systems Engineer operates with growing independence, develops strong application and business knowledge, and plays a key role in maintaining service quality in a regulated financial services environment.
