We are looking for a Tamil‑speaking befriender volunteer to support residents to express themselves in their native language. Volunteering with Creative Support is a great way to enrich the lives of people with support needs while helping our staff to deliver person‑centred services. We are looking for an outgoing, sociable and warm person who is also a good listener. As a befriender, you will provide companionship by meeting regularly for a cup of tea and a chat.

You will engage with residents in a friendly manner and develop strong rapport with the people we support. You will meet residents in their flats and in common areas, encouraging them to engage in conversation and activities.
