Job Purpose:
To prepare storage tanks for receipts/ loading, lead the tank farm crew in manning the actual receipt, bunkering and handling of bulk petroleum products into and from the Terminal by pipeline in a safe, secure manner, whilst maintaining HSSE standards and maintain customer focus.
To train the Tank Farm team on their role in Tanker discharge, tank dipping, safe house keeping, quality checks, sampling of tanks and final releasing of products to loading gantries.

Principal Accountabilities
Support delivery of Mombasa Terminal Annual HSSE plan by implementing assigned roles as per plan. Assigned roles include participation in Terminal HEMP process, weekly terminal /Tank farm sectional toolbox meetings, quarterly Terminal Safety Committee & Ops Meeting, daily walkabouts, monthly ERP drills and HSSE incentive scheme. Ensure timely closure of action items and monitor on a monthly basis.
