We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our remote accounting team as a Tax Preparer .
This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, business, and trust tax returns with full compliance to federal and state tax regulations.
This position is ideal for a tax professional with strong public accounting experience, high accuracy standards, and advanced proficiency in Lacerte tax software .
We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage deadlines during peak season, and maintain the highest level of professionalism in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Preparation & Filing
- Prepare federal and state returns for:
- Form 1040
- Form 1120 / 1120S
- Form 1065
- Form 1041
- Enter financial data accurately in Lacerte
- Review prior-year returns and source documents
