Overview
The Lab assistant will assist in clinical courses helping students learn manual skills and clinical skills
Responsibilities
This includes but is not limited to the following:
+ Assisting student with development of psychomotor skills.
+ Preparing the laboratory environment with appropriate equipment and maintaining a safe environment.
+ Student assessment/lab practical grading.
+ Sharing clinical insights.
+ Contextualizing didactic information for clinical application.
Qualifications
Proven effective interpersonal and conflict-management skillsability to take initiative in tasks that occur regularly at certain times of the year (ex: in preparation for an upcoming semester)Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment.Experience with clinical skills and procedures being taught.
