Purpose

This role develops the core technical platform, capabilities, and services that efficiently support business processes and data while optimizing cost in close collaboration with the solution or software architect.

Key Missions

Maps the relationships between IT platform or infrastructure components (i.e. Technology End Users, IT Systems Software and Hardware, and Info-Communications Transmission Networks)

Identifies the key technology interactions and dependencies across systems or platforms impacting the ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance and security targets at optimized cost

Develops and documents IT architecture specifications that serve as the reference for verification, integration and deployment

Provides cost estimate of the IT platform or infrastructure alternatives (including both software and hardware)
