Technical Buyer

To source and supply spare parts and source repair capability of local repair companies

• Interface with service technicians and ensure their parts and accessories' needs are being met
• Assist technician’s orders for parts and source and supply as soon as possible
• Recommend related parts and accessories, which may be required for the job
• Conduct physical testing of equipment and vehicle after servicing. This includes testing the operation of engine, gearbox steering, brakes, instruments etc.
• Supply costs of parts information on repair orders
• Notify service personnel when special parts or back-order parts are received
• Ensure that parts/repairs are in line with the manufacturer’s requirements

• Completion of secondary (12 years) technical education followed by recognized mechanical course mandatory
