Technical Director, Beauty & Personal Care

Responsibilities:
-Lead the technical progression of IMCD China’s entire B&PC, Home Care and I&I ingredient range. Have a strong understanding of the full portfolio to deliver total formulation solutions, demo preparation, sampling, etc. 
-Undertake application work across all B&PC, Home Care and I&I segments. 
-Set up and run an application laboratory under guidance of group technical colleagues. 
-Build, manage and inspire the local technical team; foster strong team cohesion and a high-performance culture. 
-Work closely with the commercial team to prioritize projects and undertake customer visits. 
-Serve as the primary technical liaison and steward for partners in the China market, while maintaining close communication with the global technical community to relay local needs and align with worldwide developments.
