Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the Supervisor/ Laboratory Manager with all supervisory tasks related to the materials testing, whether it’s on site or in the commercial laboratory. The Technical Manager must assist with the checking and signing of the results prior to distribution and assist to implement and maintain the 5S, quality systems and other industry and company requirements.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
A Technical Manager is responsible to ensure the accreditation and Health and Safety regulations requirements are adhered to in and around the assigned laboratory/ laboratories, including SANAS and 5S.
A Technical Manager is responsible for ensuring the correct test methods are followed.
A Technical Manager is responsible to adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
