Responsibilities
Develop and issue the requests for proposals, evaluation and selection of contractors alongside key members of the Regulatory Approvals and Impact Assessment team.Responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of the regulatory studies that support environmental effects assessments.Support inter-disciplinary team with the development of studies required for the environmental impact assessment and regulatory permitting (e.g., baseline studies, facility designs, effects assessments, water studies, fisheries authorizations, mitigation).Provide technical input (i.e., subject matter expert) and guidance to team members on the application of regulatory and permitting requirements for the environmental impact assessment and nuclear licensing process.Develop and manage the NWMO regulatory commitments (mitigation and monitoring) register throughout the regulatory process.
