Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience managing the construction of undersea fiber optic cables or other undersea infrastructure (umbilical, pipeline, power cable, flexible, etc.).
- 5 years of experience in technical program management working cross-functionally.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of turnkey construction contracts and the ability to interpret them and apply relevant clauses as issues arise with the supplier.
- Understanding of telecommunications submarine cable fiber optic technical design and installation, including manufacturing process, quality assurance, marine best practices, and safety.
- Ability to work comfortably in an environment where professional judgment is needed to fill in the gaps and support the decision.
