Position: Technical Superintendent – Externally managed Fleet
Contract type: Permanent / Full Time
Reporting to: Head of Fleet Performance (London)
Location: Mumbai, India
Overview of role
This role is responsible for providing dedicated technical oversight of externally managed vessels, ensuring strong control over cost, asset condition, operational performance and regulatory compliance.
The Technical Superintendent will act as a single accountable point for technical performance, improving visibility, strengthening governance of third-party managers and supporting proactive decision-making across the fleet.
Key responsibilities and primary deliverables
Cost Control & Commercial Oversight
Review and validate DRC postings to identify inflated, incorrect, or delayed entries.
Strong compliance on non-budgeted costs and owner’s approval.
Prevent recurring overspend through early intervention.
