  About the Role: 
 Cyient has an immediate opening for a Field Technician in our Telecommunications Business Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Outside Plant (OSP) field data collection in . You will visit multiple job locations daily and record and analyze existing field conditions related to Telecom poles, Aerial/Underground structures and Street/Right of Way measurements for future/current fiber designs and equipment locations. With support, you will perform field surveys (ISP/OSP) and take detailed notes/photos/sketch of on-site findings. You will assist Design Specialists by providing detailed feedback of potential cable path and/or site survey. You will conduct utility and right of way research; read and interpret utility plans, DOT records, property / easement data, civil design blueprints, survey documents, or sketches; proofing or comparing the information contained on GIS maps/drawings with information fr...
