Role Summary The Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all lift and escalator installations are tested, commissioned, and handed over in full compliance with safety regulations, contractual specifications, and company standards. The role plays a critical part in delivering safe, reliable, and high‑quality vertical transportation systems to customers.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of Adjusters to perform functional and safety testing of lift and elevator systems
Coordinate with customers to ensure all deliverables related to Testing & Commissioning are accomplished
Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards (e.g., EN 81, ISO), and manufacturer specifications
Conduct load testing, speed verification, leveling accuracy, and emergency operations checks
Prepare and maintain detailed test procedures, commissioning reports, and handover documentation
Record and resolve non‑conformities and close out punch list items
