Your Opportunity:

The Community Accessible Rehabilitation (CAR) program is an ambulatory rehabilitation program for adult clients with complex and/or chronic neurological and/or musculoskeletal injuries. This is your opportunity to join this dynamic team to use and develop your knowledge and skills as a Therapy Assistant (TA). As a CAR TA, you’ll be working with a diverse range of rehab clients in an out-patient setting. You’ll work with PTs and OTs on our MSK team, where the focus is clients with complex hand injuries/surgeries and clients with lower extremity amputations. As well you will work with our Neuro team (OT, PT, SLP, RecT) with clients who have complex diagnoses, which may include stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, or spinal cord injury. As a TA within the CAR program, you will help to provide group and individual treatment sessions under the supervision of licensed PTs, OTs, Recreation Therapists and/or SLPs.
