Job Title: Baker – Full-Time
Location Name: Nanaimo - Bowen Road
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Full-Time Baker to join our Bakery Department at Country Grocer at our Bowen location. As a Baker, you’ll be responsible for the preparation, baking, and production of high-quality baked goods—primarily breads, rolls, and other yeast-leavened products.
Schedule Requirements:
Morning shift as early as 4am

Part-Time 36-40 hours per week
About the job:
Prepare and bake a variety of fresh breads, rolls, and other yeast-based products according to company standards and recipes

Scale, mix, proof, and bake doughs with precision and consistency

Operate commercial baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough dividers safely and effectively

Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure quality and doneness
