Tissue Culture Lab Officer

Overview: This role is responsible for assisting the TCL Ops Lead with business volume expansion related to plantlet production and its optimal quality results, ensured via rigorous testing. The role also acts as the EHS Area owner for the site, implementing applicable GEHSMS standards and coordinating seamless communication with the TCL Manager and best practices in the Tissue Culture Lab. Responsibilities Assist the TCL Ops Lead on daily, weekly, and monthly crop analysis reports. Assess lab equipment for proper operation and ensure timely calibration of on‑site equipment. Maintain and handle potato germplasm in aseptic conditions. Arrange long‑term preservation of all potato clones. Perform sterilization, inoculation, subculturing, multiplication, rooting, and hardening of potato clones.
