Job Summary
The SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the SAP technical environment. This role ensures the stability, availability, performance, and security of all SAP systems, including installation, upgrades, system copies, patches, and performance tuning. The consultant also collaborates with functional and development teams to provide seamless SAP operations and support.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
- Perform system copies, client copies, and SAP system refreshes.
- Manage SAP transports and ensure change management processes are followed.
- Monitor and tune SAP system performance, database parameters, and memory usage.
- Apply SAP Support Packages, kernel upgrades, and OSS notes as required.
