We are seeking a skilled Senior Toolmaker in the Heavy Steel Manufacturing Industry, to support new product development, prototyping, and tooling innovation within a steel manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an experienced artisan with strong problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble prototype components for new product designs
- Design, modify, and maintain press tools, cutting tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and templates
- Support product development trials and testing
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD designs, and technical specifications
- Identify tooling and process inefficiencies and support Lean/Kaizen initiatives
