Traffic Management Operative

FM Conway is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Management division based in Hampshire. You will be on a full‑time, permanent role, working a mixture of day and night shifts, with regular overtime and night work opportunities at an industry leading rate.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights as required and assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• Maintaining and removing the traffic lights within the required time scale.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring the public abides by the lights.
• Working closely with management and crews, and taking instructions from the management team.
• Ensuring that sites are safe and carrying out on‑site assessments.
• Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, particularly ensuring the appropriate people are notified.
