Trainee Field Technician

We are recruiting for a number of Trainee Field Technicians who will be covering your local area. You will be required to assist in leak detection activities, pinpointing water leaks on the network. Full training is provided; no experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and retrieve loggers within district metered area (DMA) for water companies.
• Deploy loggers on client furniture, most likely fire hydrants and valves; normally 80‑100 loggers per day.
• Retrieve loggers 24 hours later and download results to assess leakage noise between 2:00 – 4:00 am and record decibels.
• Repeat the process, allowing for manual work that involves lifting, stretching, bending; driving long hours beneficial.
