Opportunity to work on a range of automated machinery used predominantly within the food / process sector. As Trainee Service Engineer, we need someone comfortable travelling across the UK to visit customer sites. When not on site, this position involves working on internal projects to help plan further site work.
Salary and Benefits
Flexible salary depending on level of experience + overtime. 24 days holiday + bank holidays, 5% pension matched, private healthcare (Aviva), pool van for all jobs (can be taken home when needed), overtime rate 1.5x for anything over 8 hours a day.
Responsibilities
- After training, predominantly working on customer sites to undertake a range of engineering duties, including servicing, repairs, testing, and modifications.
- When not on site, focus on reports, preparing jobs, liaising with customers by telephone/email, getting parts ready for site, occasional light assembly work.
