JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Transportation Dispatcher
Reports to: Director of Transportation
Status: Full-time - Exempt
Yearly Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ' Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
+ Possess a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a valid CDL with additional endorsements preferred.
+ Consistently render the best customer satisfaction to the public, through a well-trained staff, and product availability.
+ Must productively multitask and efficiently navigate industry specific software.
+ Utilize various in-truck technologies to help in the prevention of inefficiencies or safety concerns.
+ Promote a culture of safety on a daily basis through trainings, providing information and knowledge to employees about DEC and environmental safety measures and procedures; making sure employees follow all DOT, DEC and company compliance 100% of the time.
