Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or related setting
Knowledge of medical terminology
Coursework or training in medical terminology and human anatomy, or equivalent education/experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with interruptions
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or training in medical coding
1 year of medical record abstracting and/or coding experience
1 year of medical registry experience or 2+ years in a healthcare-related field
Experience with injury severity coding and reimbursement coding
