As the Truck and Trailer Apprentice (Level 2, 3 or 4), you will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator and the other Tractor/Trailer Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.
Qualifications:
You will be a registered Apprentice with the either Level 2, 3 or 4
Passed the Apprenticeship entry exam
Graduation from a recognized certificate program (ex. Truck and Transport Technician, Heavy Duty Technician), and the desire to obtain your Journeyman's certificate will be key to your success in this position
Effective time management and team focus
May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less
