The Truck Logistics Coordinator is responsible for transportation logistics and maximizing freight arbitrage, ensuring commodities move in a timely manner to meet contractual obligations and customer needs.
What Youll Be Doing
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatching and scheduling of shipments; book all shipments within contract periods as defined by sales contract terms.
- Participate in forward booking of freight, as required, to secure cost-effective transportation of commodities.
- Ensure carriers comply with company policies and practices.
- Analyze freight variance reports to maximize freight arbitrage and manage costs; assist in managing shippable stock inventories and initiating transportation plans for maximum efficiency.
