Turbomachinery Service Engineer

Job Description

Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing service and site assistance on John Crane Turbomachinery products supporting compressor manufacturers and end‑user customers. As part of the Global Turbomachinery team the incumbent will support the company’s drive to expand our portfolio of services and products in the Turbomachinery market in accordance with corporate objectives, strategy, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Onsite dry gas seal removal, strip, inspection, rebuild, and installation into turbo compressors.
• Identify and assist customers with upgrades of all turbomachinery products.
• Understand and report upon the commercial opportunities of each customer site visited through site surveys, the commercial opportunity sheet, and customer interaction.
• Provide training to customers on gas seal and system‑related subjects.
• Troubleshoot all turbomachinery products.
