Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently mount dismount and balance new and used tires on various vehicle types ensuring proper fitment and weight distribution.

Perform precise wheel alignments using specialized equipment to correct steering and suspension issues, optimizing tire wear and vehicle handling.

Conduct thorough inspections of tires and wheels to identify and report signs of damage, wear or potential safety hazards, recommending necessary replacements or repairs.

Operate and maintain tire-changing machinery including hydraulic lifts, tire changers and wheel balancers, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating foundational academic skills.
• Holds a vocational certificate or apprenticeship in automotive mechanics or tire technology.
• Has a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a tire fitter or in a related automotive service role.
