Job Description
The Ultrasound Technologist 2 is responsible for performing sonographic procedures by the application of ultrasound to produce images under a variety of conditions and assisting physicians as required in the selection of practical applications and technical factors.

- Reports to the Advanced Imaging Operations Manager
- Produce quality sonograms.
- Possess knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Obtain previous related exams that will help evaluate the current exam.
- Know the capabilities of the equipment.
- Assist physician with procedures as needed.
- Prepare sonogram images, including appropriate history and complete worksheet, identifying pathology and providing accurate measurements for interpretation.
- Verify all images have been sent to PACS correctly.
