Summary

Hecla Keno Hill is seeking an Underground Mine Trainer to lead hands‑on training of underground lateral development and production miners. This position is responsible for the curriculum, delivery, and certification of miners operating in a narrow‑vein hard‑rock mining environment. You will ensure that our “Safety 365” values are integrated into every mining cycle (drill, blast, muck, bolt, and backfill).

The Keno Hill mine is located within the Keno Hill Silver District in Canada’s Yukon Territory. Keno Hill is one of the highest‑grade silver districts in the world, situated 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse, and lies within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na‑Cho Nyak Dun. It comprises 242 square kilometres with numerous mineral deposits and more than 35 historical past‑producing mine sites. Keno Hill is expected to produce ~3 million ounces of silver in 2026.
