Underground Senior Geotechnical Engineer
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will be part of the Engineering Department – Underground Operations. You will be responsible for geotechnical data collection, design, planning, quality control, and education. You will liaise between Engineering, Geology and Underground Mine Operations departments regarding all production-related activities to support the safe development of the mine. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture & Code of conduct, maintaining a high Health & Safety standard, all in respect of the environment, the work procedures in place & the industry’s good practices.
Develop and maintain the Underground Ground Control Management Plan;
Perform industry standard development and production support design;
Prepare and review engineering prints for execution of ground support installation.;
