Underwriting Manager, Construction and Energy

The Underwriting Manager position is responsible for the profitable production and underwriting of Construction and Energy accounts from retail brokers across Canada. This person will also be the point person for all Construction lines within Canada, working closely with each of the profit center heads to set strategy, and develop a business plan for the region. This person will operate as the Canadian Team Lead and guide others in the production/retention of profitable Construction Property, Construction Casualty, Construction Professional/Pollution and Energy Property coverages. This position is key in driving the successful execution of the unit’s strategic plan, with particular emphasis on growth and excellent service standards.
