As a Manufacturing Scientist / Engineer in Global Supply Chain, you’ll support Bio-Rad’s reagent and consumables portfolio by performing materials tear-downs, mapping current-state specifications, and identifying supplier/material alternatives. You’ll collaborate with R&D, QA/RA, Procurement, and Manufacturing to plan small, targeted evaluations and document evidence for change control. While you won’t be in the lab day-to-day, you’ll rely on a full working knowledge of common techniques (PCR/ddPCR, ELISA, Western blot, FACS, TC, MS etc).

How You’ll Make An Impact: 
 Lead/assist product tear-downs of on market products (biologicals/chemicals) and define CTQs and acceptance criteria. 

 Build alternatives matrices (antibody/antigen/protein/enzyme/chemical) and propose qualified alternate supply (external & internal) against performance, risk, cost, and supply continuity.
