Responsibilities
- Coordinates and directs daily activities of the assigned production team to maximize productivity while maintaining quality.
- Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics met.
- Investigates, troubleshoots and provides solutions to escalated production problems.
- Provides training for other assembly workers.
- Assigns work, reviews metrics, resolves issues that are escalated.
- Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
- Follows training and safety requirements and trains assemblers to use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
