Veterinary Care assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Carrickfergus Vets for Pets practice.

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. You will be joining our supportive team of 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 4 Vets and 3 CCAs.

You will assist all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity with the potential of future progression to a student Veterinary nurse position.

This is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours per week, including two 8:30am to 7pm shifts and two 8:30am to 4:45pm shifts. Some Saturday shifts (9am to 12pm) will be required, this is a maximum of 1 in 3 Saturdays.
