VFX Project Manager

The VFX Project Manager (often synonymous with Production Manager or Senior Coordinator) manages the when and who. While the Producer handles the money, you handle the logistics. You ensure artists have their tasks, dailies run smoothly, and the schedule is adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed day-to-day schedules for asset and shot departments.

Resource Allocation: Assign tasks to artists based on availability and skillset using ShotGrid .

Workflow Management: Identify bottlenecks in the pipeline and unblock artists immediately.

Dailies & Reviews: Organize internal dailies and client reviews, ensuring notes are accurately recorded and distributed.
