Vice President – Network & Data Center Management

Job Purpose

Manage, operate, and maintain Aldar datacentre facilities, Network, IP Telephony, and security operations to ensure maximum uptime for users.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage & monitor all datacentre’s facilities including access control, security, disaster recovery.
• Liaise with the Facilities Department to ensure high availability and performance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the datacentre.
• Propose standards, tools, policies, and procedures pertaining to the datacentre facility management.
• Manage the datacentre facilities to ensure support on a 24x7 basis.
• Develop new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks, Firewall, and IP Telephony.
• Manage network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
